Of course not.You do believe that every single mention of wine in the Bible refers to the alcoholic kind?
No.Even the miraculous wine created ex aqua in John 2?
Wine.Drunk on what, AV?
LOL -- solid aurum. They were already drunk on grape juice? So Jesus turned water into more grape juice, which was apparently better than the first round of grape juice?
Of course not.
No.
Wine.
They have to get off-topic somehow.
Otherwise they would have to admit my point; or else look ... well ... comical arguing root beer shouldn't be referred to as "beer;" even in a riddle.
If you wanted to throw them for a loop you could say something like "Wow, I guess you guys are right after all - Jesus did turn water into wine! Thanks for converting to Christianity!"
For the record, wine ≠ beer.
Those men were probably already drunk.
To them, the grape juice would taste like fine wine.
Either that, or it was grape juice they had at the first, then wanted more.
Excuse me, but when we go to the grocery store and I tell my wife to get a bottle of wine, she knows exactly what I want: grape juice. You know, for a guy who worships King James' Word, you're certainly not willing to trust Him when He tells you they drank wine at the wedding...
I believe Jesus is the One here being accused of turning water into scientist-wine.Is that what you honestly believe, AV, or is this what you feel you're supposed to believe in order to avoid admitting that the ancient Jews were known to occasionally drink (alcoholic) wine, including at wedding celebrations?

Yes, I believe they drank alcoholic wine at wedding celebrations, but when Jesus supplied the wine, it was of the non-alcoholic type.
Because drinking is a sin. Why? Why wouldn't it be alcoholic? Last time I checked, Jesus wasn't a Muslim.
Because drinking is a sin.
I request the bible verse that says so.
