Sure. Here it is in the New American Standard translation:
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Being hung up on an out of date translation does put you at a disadvantage.
Go ahead, find me any translation that leaves out your "s" except for the King James. They don't, because the Hebrew for "heavens" in Genesis 1:1 is exactly the same as other places where even the King James says "heavens". And since they are translating from Hebrew, not copying King James, they translate accurately.

You've been told this before. Your mind is acting like it is hypnotized because it won't listen to reason, a common result of post-hypnotic suggestions.
You seem to think it is impossible to say "I don't know". You insist one should be able to prove how angels were made. I insist on my right to say "I don't know" and all your imaginary proofs and declarations based on pure assumptions are ignored for the fluff that they are.

There's no strong evidence that a deity has interacted with anything in our universe or created the universe to begin with. If a deity/deities exist, they have no inherent obligations to us. However, expecting people to believe in your existence when you make no effort to make yourself objectively measurable is... optimistic at best.
I've never claimed that any deity was confused. However, if you believe that a deity created humans (as well as other animals) with the capacity for confusion, then, technically, it is the cause of our confusion.
If any deity had presented people with enough reliable evidence of its existence such that there should be no doubt to its existence, atheism and people that believed in other deities would be on the fringe much like flat-earthers or people that think lizard men rule the politics of our planet. FYI, more people on this planet AREN'T Christian than are. Also, having otherwise normal people speak on behalf of a deity is a poor method of "getting the word out". Honestly, the easiest way a deity could have shown itself to us long-term is to have writings by it, not humans, which could be read by anyone, regardless of the language they speak or literacy, and all people that did so would get the same message out of it. This would distinguish it from false gods, and provide evidence people could be directly exposed to, hypothetically, for the rest of human history.
Nothing, if the deity doesn't care if people believe or not.

Well my 'out of date' version comes with a warning:
Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Translation: Warning! Adding an 's' to a word can result in misunderstanding.
Which is just what you guys demonstrate when you add an 's' to "heaven" in Genesis 1:1.

So translators used to do that and have stopped, and you think this means you are right. To me, it means you won't learn anything that conflicts with your viewpoint.
It's true that adding an s can be a mistranslation. Isn't also true that taking an s away can be a mistranslation? How would you judge the mistranslation?
a) Go back to the original text and see if it is singular or plural
b) Go back to other translators and copy the oldest one available,instead of the ones that are careful to go back to the origional.
You opt for "b". I opt for "a", and scratch my head in wonder at your choice.
