Chapter Three
Harper blazed through the torn, shattered streets of Pheonix, as he was followed carefully be Jenn, who now flew above him swiftly. Priorly, they had quickly discussed their immediate plans, and were in the swift movement to actually perform their duties; there was no time, as the now nervous FBI had informed them that the New Dawn Resistence had caught on their every move.
Interesting enough was the air strikes had permantley ended, and it seemed that the ND air resistence had evacuated the area; however, the terrible assault on the ground was immanant, and certaily on-going. Oddly enough was the interesting fact that the standing research building had not been touched at all, and this began to concern Harper.
Immediately, Harper and Jenn found themselves at the proper location, as the ND troops began stealthily moving toward their destination. Now, Harper momentarily hid behind a section of the towering research building, and Jenn followed him closely behind. The terrible cacophony of ear-shattering explosions was in the hot air, as the on-going war still continued.
"All right," Harper carefully whispered, making sure he was out-of-sight from the war. "Jenn, you know the plan?"
Jenn, now on the ground hiding with him, commented, "Uh-huh." She seemed nervous.
"When they come this way, we strike, and let the FBI get their forces to check over the research building." Johnathan, from the powerful FBI, had informed them that many FBI Agents - nearly all of them - had been killed, either near, or within the research center. It was apparent, now, that the angry terrorist resistence had made their way into the building, and were planning something. Jenn gave them full intelligence that terrorists had planted a deadly bomb within the Research Center, and when receiving this information, the FBI called Harper in for action, and for his blazing help. It would proof of great use.
Suddenly, the well-armored, protected ND troops moved their way through the crippled streets heading for the unscathed building, with Harper and Jenn carefully looking toward their way. Immediately, Jenn went into action, flapping her powerful, thrusting wings, and flew behind the building; she was luckily still out of few from the terrorists.
For Harper, he was still lit, blazing on fire, and waited for Jenn. Quickly, Jenn came behind Harpers back, flapping even more tensely now, and noticed the fire from Harper beginning to shift in the direction of the wind: toward the ND Troops. The fire of Harper quickly twirled and twisted in reaction to Jenn's flapping wings, as she carefully directed the now moving wind toward the streets.
Suddenly, the fire abruptly crawled across the streets, as a horizontal twister was revealed to the terrorists; Harper still kept the dazzling fire burning, as Jenn - behind him - flapped her wings to push his fire into the now burning streets.

Johnathan noticed the wall of fire that blocked the terrorist movement; he then carefully commanded his troops to move into the untouched research center, hiding behind the impressive blaze of fire. The presented plan was working well; in all, the plan was for Harper and Jenn to create a fire wall to block the movement of ND Troops from taking the research center; furthermore, the FBI would use the fire wall as a barrier, in order to move behind it, and have the proper cover from the ND Troops.
At the moment, the well-deviced plan was working perfectly. Immediately, the HAV's moved forward, hiding themselves from the tornadic wall of fire; at the same time, FBI Agents moved on the debriss-ridden ground behind the burning fire, able to reach the location of Jenn and Harper, which was directly near the side entrance to the Research Center.
The operation, in itself, was risking everyone's very life because the threat of the bomb was always present; no one knew when the needed building would blow.
"Move!!!" Johnathan said, running behind the fire wall. "Get in there!"
Johnathan followed behind the moving troops, as well as HAV's, when they finally made it to their location; Johnathan caught the eye of Jenn, who was floating behind the fire-consumed Harper, as they both held steady, still mantaining the impressive fire wall. Noticing the tiredness of Jenn, Johnathan quickly commanded for his bomb team to move into the building, and find out if they were capable of unarming the threatening bomb.
Soon, they would find out.
