And yet the advocates of PC will tell you, no this isn't true! You're phobic. You're a bigot for even believing this.
That's the mindset that beat back common sense objections so that the horse was transported by Trojans past the gates and into Troy itself.
So let me get this straight, Christians march into neighborhoods populated by mostly Muslems,
holding crosses and chanting verses from the Bible.
Isn't this antagonizing ?
Kinda like the KKK marching through Jewish neighborhoods in upstate NY back in the 80s.
Jim
Hello, Jim. Nice to see you outside CAF, I was TEPO there for a long time... But no, Christians are not at all like the KKK.
Hi, Landon.
I'm not saying Christians are like the KKK, but going into a Muslim neighborhood carry crosses is antagonistic, like the KKK did to Jews when they marched through Jewish neighborhoods wearing their white hoods
Jim
that's like saying the Mafia are good Catholics
What about a gay pride parade conducting a march in a Catholic neighborhood? Could the gay-rights protesters also be comparable to the KKK?
Well, it would be the same thing, antagonizing people.
However, all the gay pride parades I know of, are on the main streets of cities.
Not that I think they're good, but they not specifically going into an ethnic neighborhood as in the Christians in the OP article are doing.
Jim
I don't support this particular group they don't strike me as thoughtful people. But as far as antagonism it could easily be claimed that Christ and the apostles were antagonist. They preached the gospel in synagogues and in primarily Jewish neighborhoods.
They preached where the Gospel was never heard.
This isn't the same, they're in the face of Muslims in their neighborhoods antagonizing them
Jim
Shouldn't Muslims hear the good news? I think they more than most need to hear the Gospel.
Muslims will hear the good news if that good news is spread through good deeds (like mother Teresa or st Francis did), not through intimidation.Shouldn't Muslims hear the good news? I think they more than most need to hear the Gospel.
Should have told Paul to just be nice to the Jews rather than preach.Muslims will hear the good news if that good news is spread through good deeds (like mother Teresa or st Francis did), not through intimidation.
