CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yep. So, belief that other nations have prophets and such is right there.
That doesn't mean we think they are right or for us to listen to.

Why would they be exempt when the goal is to convert everyone in the entire world? Not believing in any god whatsoever doesn't remove you from the radar completely. They might even find them to be far worse than people who actually believe there is a deity at all.
But this is all speculation really. I wasn't there, and I'm never going to follow "Allah".

Actually no, there is not that much of killing and violent verses in the New testament, Jesus if he ever existed was more like a hippie in comparison to muhammad who was a bloodthirsty invader and pedophile.
This equality that all religions (not in the sense of historical part) share same level of violence in their teachings isn't true, some religions can be very pacifist comparing to others.

Oh atheists are even worse off than the Christians in Muslim countries. Muhammad said that Muslims should not kill ''People of the Book'' (Christians, Jews...) who submit themselves to Islamic rule and law. He did not say the same thing about atheists.
During the Soviet-Afghan War, the mujahideen summarily executed nearly all atheist Afghans, for the believed that the atheists would be allied with the Afghan Communist Party and the USSR. This hate towards atheism is still rife in the Muslim world.
