Okay, the other day I was talking to one of the guys who sits on the committee for our promotions company with me. He informed me that because of me he now has a Pavlovian response to hearing the Dead Can Dance.
You see, every time we are booked to do a wedding, Birthday or whatever, that includes a buffet or meal, I try to make certain we are not playing anything that people will want to dance to while they eat. Dead Can Dance fits the bill, its good, its gentle and its listen to not Dance to music.
What I was wondering is, what songs/bands/music make you want to do something other than the obvious sing along/have a boogie and why?
