Some years ago, a very dear CF friend messaged me that simple video on birthday. I don't know why, but I was extremely touched by that simple act, and it made me feel so very special and cared about. After some of the folks I was closest to had previously abandoned me, the gesture reassured me that I have positively impacted lives of site members, and I was so grateful for that. Every year since then, I make a point of checking out that video again just so I can feel appreciated on that day.

"Last Days Ministries" is the ministry Keith, his wife and some others, moved to Texas from California. This is the reason we live here. We came to join LDM in 1993 from Oregon. I worked in a huge print shop they had on the ministry grounds. After 4 1/2 years they closed the ministry and sold it to another ministry. We, and some other old timers decided to stay here and put down roots. I went back to driving big trucks. Others went home to their respective states and countries, some decided to continue full time ministry with Youth With a Mission.

Keith and his two children are buried just down the road from us.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. "So You Wanna Go Back to Egypt" is one of my Keith Green favorites. I have also enjoyed the many Sons of Korah songs you have introduced me to.

i like Sinead O'Connor's songs about The Lord as well as well, not so much her personal theology - but she sings with true passion fro she knows what he is singing about, and i like that. Also she is bi-polar like me and i relate to her on other issues as well.

These are my two favourites of her album Theology.

Just recently I had to 'take a knee' (to take a phrase from the movie "After Earth" ) and remind myself of who I am in Christ. It felt like such a battle - struggling again with fear/anxiety/depressive thoughts.

I have found that praise/worship songs really helps me to smash through those walls, those strongholds so whenever 'the old man wonders here and there and then tries to return back to me bringing several more stronger buddies' I have this song waiting for him:
