What I want to do is be faithful to the scriptures which I provided. If you and many others want to take the blame for the murder of Jesus, then be my guest. Had you read my post, you would know that I was humbled completely when I discovered that God gave His Son to pay the penalty which I could not pay for my own sins. I DID NOT murder Him, I was even apathetic toward Him, till the Holy Spirit convicted me and opened my eyes to see His abundant mercy toward me. The condition of my sinfulness is inate within me. I had a propensity to sin right out of the womb, and if not dealt with, I would have been doomed. I did not cause that "bent" to be there, because it is the nature of the "creature". So the law was given that sin would be shown to be utterly sinful, and the only way for me to be rejoined to God is if HE provided the escape I needed from that death. God knew this BEFORE the foundation of the world, because THAT is when my "salvation" was created in the mind of God. So BY FAITH I accept that.nephilimiyr said:Now if you want to play the blame game, Yes, the Jews are to blame for the actual crime and I do agree with you that that is the reason for their destruction in 70AD. Yet it's also very important to remember that we all hold blame for this. If it wasn't for our sinful natures, Jesus's sacrifice never would've been needed and with that in mind we are all to blame and should never believe otherwise!
My old nature is one of continual failure and GOD KNEW IT! He is the one ultimately responsible having created such a worm as I, and it is ALSO He that has provided a way for me to crawl out of that whole and set me with Him in heavenly places. All glory and praise belong to Him.
