Friendly reminder that the purpose of this thread is to serve as a place for me to post my thoughts, and for others to chat with me if they want to. It's not a place to advertise your content or go around criticizing and challenging my posts or anyone else's posts. Not saying that I'm always right or you have to agree with everything I say, but I want this to be a fellowship thread and not a self-promotion or debate.

I found a bunch of old craft supplies I haven't been using. I have lots of felt, a ton of construction paper, and some small pieces of canvas left over from needlepoint projects. I should find some things to make with them!

I haven't written or streamed in a little while. I hope I come up with more ideas for my story soon. I want to stream again, but I have to come up with more digital art or modeling ideas first.

I've never been able to do origami. I've tried it, but my creations never look like the finished example, probably because I'm not good at folding paper perfectly. I did manage to make a little fox one time years ago, which I designed to look like my fanmade Charabom Varox LV.1...but I had to tape it in several spots to get it to stay in the proper shape. I should share a photo of it sometime.

September is here! Time to decorate for fall!!! Autumn is coming, my favorite season!

I finally feel up to drawing and streaming today! I'm going to make a new drawing based on Mystery of the Mirror Rift to use as my avatar. Speaking of that story, I'm also going to upload it to my Fanfiction today!

My goodness, has it really been almost two months since I posted here?! I guess I haven't had much to say since then. I never even took a photo of that origami Varox I mentioned in my previous post - I'd better do that soon!

Happy November! Happy All Saints' Day!

So I think I'm going to be a bit more active on CF again, starting today. I still might not be as active as I used to be, but I would like to at least start posting in this thread again.

It's been a year today since I finished Kirby and the Rod of Darkness, which is hard to believe! But it does feel like it's been quite a while. The past three months have been very long and slow for me, which is one reason why I didn't post much. Things have been really rough ever since I started dealing with severe insomnia in July, which made my anxiety worse than it's ever been. It was initially caused by medication, but I'm still struggling two and a half months after my last dose. I suspect the reason it hasn't gotten better is because I've now become very anxious about sleep.

While I really wanted to be done with medication for anxiety, I ended up starting a new one that helps with the symptoms recently. Basically, it made my anxiety go from unusually severe to the level it's normally at when it's worse. I don't think it's doing much for my sleep, but I'm now trying to not even think about sleep when I go to bed, which I hope will help...unfortunately my second, brief attempt at overcoming anxiety failed because of all this. I sure hope things get better soon so I can work on improving again.

Anyway, I have managed to get some things done lately despite not feeling great. I made a new digital drawing (my avatar) and two new 3D models. I sewed a few things and just recently resumed writing Mystery of the Mirror Rift. I finally sanded my 3D-printed models, but I still need to buy primer and paint for them. I got to play Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby's Epic Yarn for the first time in seven years, which was so fun! Now I'm playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle like I do at this time every year.

There are some things I want to do in the near future, if I feel up to it. I made a video of my Pokemon plush collection and want to make one of my other video game character plushies soon. I want to make a Baglion plush because I have all the right fabrics for it now. I want to get back to traditional and digital art and streaming. I'd like to try making animations in Blender, but I haven't done so yet. I hope I get to do these things very soon!

Okay, these were some pretty long posts...but I had a lot to update on after not posting for two months!

I saw Nintendo Direct's video for the upcoming game Kirby Air Riders. It looks so fun!! I was so happy to see a variety of playable characters, especially (unsurprisingly) Magolor and Susie! Too bad there's no sign of Taranza yet, but hopefully he'll show up later. I never played the original Kirby Air Ride, but I bet I'd enjoy this sequel if I had a Switch 2. I hope I can play it someday!

Oh yeah, I saw a second video about this game and it was so exciting! More playable characters were revealed and one of them was Taranza, which made me so happy! Now all the main characters from my fanfiction are there! It also looks like there's going to be a ton of cool features such as headwear for the characters, customization options for the Air Ride machines, and a lobby where you can roam around and stuff while waiting for online matches to begin. I can't wait to watch gameplay videos once it's released!

Happy All Saints' Day! I hope and pray that your health and sleep will improve soon. I'm glad you are getting back to your story, as well as your other projects! Thanks for the updates.

Kirby and the Rod of Darkness was different from my typical writing in that it's more humorous and less realistic overall. While Mystery of the Mirror Rift is more like my typical writing, I noticed there are still a few different things about it:

-It's my first story where one of the main protagonists is a robot. I had a few stories before where the main villain or the villain's sidekick was a robot, but that's a bit different.
-Most of the major characters are female. Not that that never happens, but it's not super common. The last time it happened was about ten years ago, I think.
-If I remember correctly, it's my first story with a female villain. I do remember making at least one before, but she never actually appeared in a story.

I suppose I could have put some of this stuff in the story itself, but I try not to add too many author's notes. I'm not sure if that actually matters, but I figure readers would rather not have them taking up a lot of space.

Suddenly I feel the urge to try making Kirby and the Rod of Darkness animations! They would consist of actual events from the story and might be a simple type of animation. I might want to make some from Mystery of the Mirror Rift too but would probably focus on the previous story first. I just remembered another female villain I made in the past who never appeared in a story. So I've made two of them before, but both were basically drawn a few times and then forgotten. I also don't know if Mirrobo would actually be considered a main protagonist or if it would be considered the protagonist's sidekick. I've noticed it doesn't seem to be as involved in the story as Susie is, but I guess that's understandable.

I suppose this year, I'll probably use the same Christmas avatar I used the past two years. I mean, I could make a new one but Mystery of the Mirror Rift doesn't have holiday chapters, and decorating Mirrobo for Christmas might be kind of weird! Although if I do decide to make some animations like I mentioned in my previous post, I might make at least one Christmas one!
