All I did was quote myself and then clicked on the link at the bottom of the reply window (and snipped it again).

Hmm :scratch:. The quote button seems to have disappeared altogether...just to be left by the multi-quote. Is this the new version?
The "quote" button also turns green after you click on it.

If Erwin is reading this, I'm not to sure this is an improvement over the regular quote function, plus the mutli-quote function. I'll need to experiment before I make a decision.

when I write a post in which I quote a post in a forum and then leave that forum to post elsewhere.... and then return later to the first forum where I quoted a post.... and quote another post, BOTH quotes show up in the "post reply" edit box.... shouldn't the first "clipboard" clear when I have used it?

and , yes, it sometimes seems to pick up quotes in a thread that I didn't knowingly select...
