Chesapeake police say the suspect behind a mass shooting at a Walmart just off Battlefield Blvd. is dead.

It’s still unclear just how many people were killed or injured in the shooting, but police say there are multiple of both. A police spokesperson told WAVY’s Michelle Wolf that no more than 10 people have died.

Police are still going through the building and people are asked to steer clear. The call reporting the shooting came in at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday.

We move to universal healthcare that includes mental health care. That would go a long ways to getting people the mental healthcare they need by removing the financial barrier to it. Unfortunately a large segment of the population in the United States just screeched “socialism” when I suggested this.

A law enforcement source told ABC News that "preliminary info is it was an employee, possible manager, went in break room and shot other employees, and himself."

We truly need to look at the lack of availability of mental health care in our nation.

Perhaps, but just because something is available doesn't mean someone will take advantage of it. It took a lot of coaxing to get someone I know to seek help for depression.

Something else: At least in the US, there seems to be a sort of stigma to seeking help for mental issues. I don't really know why. If you have heart issues, you go to a cardiologist, so why not go to a psychologist or psychiatrist for issues like depression?

It's not just the lack of mental health, it's the stigmatization of mental health issues.
If you've got a broken leg, no one will stigmatize you for it.
If you're got a broken brain, family will abandon you and keep quite about it.

That's neither here nor there, because both world wars originated overseas. A stronger argument would be if our treatments of others within our own borders was worse or better. I will note that Benjamin Franklin, who by his own words was a Deist and not a Christian, argued for religious instruction as an incentive for moral behavior. This will not be an accurate quote, but he once wrote to Thomas Paine, "If people are so bad with religion, what would they be without it?"

Sorry God I've failed you. This was not your fault but my own. I failed to listen to the groans of the holy spirit which made me a poor representation of You I was harassed by idiots with low intelligence and a lack of wisdom. I remained strong through most of the torment but my dignity was completely taken away beyond repair by my phone being hacked.

I can't say that they were the only ones that lacked intelligence and wisdom. I was just as guilty and failed my management team and
everyone that ever loved me by convincing them that I was normal. ------ and the associates orcastraighted it they laughed and made subtle code speeches which I eventually figured out. I thought ---- was my friend but he betrayed me. Betrayal is one of the worst feelings next to regret.

They laughed at me and said that I was like Jeffrey Dahmer. I would have never killed anyone that entered my home.

A few months back I had overheard ------ talking to ------ and he told me that he had been trying to get rid of me since day one. After I heard that I lashed out.

The associates gave me evil twisted grins, mocked me and celebrated my down fall the last day. That's why they suffer the same fate as me.

My true intent was never to murder anyone believe it or not, I was actually one of the most loving people in the world if you get to know me. I just wanted a wife that was equally yoked as I and obsessed over the thought; however, I didn't deserve a wife.

I hope that people will learn from everyone's mistakes and truly love God and not the material possessions of the world.

My only wish would have been to start over from scratch and that my parents would have paid closer attention to my social deficits. Sorry everyone, but I did not plan this I promise things just fell in place like I was led by the Satan. I have written songs in the past though. I only did it when I realized my phone was hacked and was giving the worst feeling imaginable. I wish that I could have saved everyone from myself.

That's historically quite inaccurate. None of the World Wars were initiated by the USA. You could have used the slavery, the massacr of Wounded Knee, the massacre of My Lai, but the two WW were really not good examples.

Lol, while the Good Book was in our classrooms we didn't start the wars.

Since the Good Book has been out we've started at least one war.

I don't think you can blame the Good Book for any of these.
