I asked this in another thread and never got a reply. Who cares if they're hyper-partisan? They're the prosecution.

Their purpose in interviewing Trump won’t just be to gather the facts needed to wrap up their investigation. In my view, it will also be to induce Trump to make statements the prosecution can use to build a case that the president has lied to the prosecution.

Trump will lie because he has something to lie about.
Trump won't lie, and they will find there is nothing in his testimony to investigate.
Trump won't lie, and they will find there is something in his testimony to investigate.

It seems the easy way out is for Trump to not lie.

As noted, though, I believe the purpose of the interview will be more to catch Trump in something Mueller’s team can characterize as a lie than to obtain Trump’s version of the facts. Hence the need to be especially wary.

No, I'm annoyed with the complete and total cranium-rectal inversion that people have to be suffering from to believe that being critical of progressive ideology means that I'm a total right-winger. Maybe I'm not being clear enough, so let me try to be a little more basic.

I am a classical liberal. I am not an authoritarian, I do not support the Progressive Left. I'm also very individualist. At the moment, it is the Progressives who are pushing for things like Hate Speech Laws, deplatforming, and blacklisting. It is so bad that I've repeatedly seen people associate freedom of speech with the right-wing. When that Canadian TA was talking to Dave Rubin, she actually opined that maybe the right-wing was her only option to have the freedom to express her own opinions. I am critical of those who are doing this, who want to subvert freedom for feelings, and who want to criminalize thought.

And how do you, among others, reply? Calling me a right-winger, acting like I'm evil for criticizing the ones who I see as the most serious threat to our society, and a traitor because I don't harp on Trump for stupid crap all of the time. Why should I feign outrage when he posts stupid crap on twitter? He was doing that before the election, and that was one of the many reasons I didn't vote for him. To tell the truth, I don't pay attention to the man outside of the legislation and executive orders.

I've stated it before, but let me say it again in case you missed it: I consider both parties as walking corpses. I don't think either will survive for too much longer; at least that's my hope.
