Mt. 7:13-14

The gate into God's kingdom is small, narrow and difficult to locate according to Jesus Christ who is God manifested in flesh. The gate was used because of hearing the Acts 2 message and is the only record in scripture of it.
1. Why is the gate deliberately difficult to locate?
2. What is the sin those people who heard that message were convicted they were guilty of? ref. Jn. 16:8
3. Why do you not hear that message spoken and explained in any contemporary church?

Matthew 7:12 “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

1.) I don't get from those verse that it was deliberately difficult to locate, but rather that it is the path leading to the gate that is difficult. It is difficult because it is easy to be selfish and to desire to do what we want rather than what God has commanded.

2.) Not heeding the Law and the Prophets.

3.) 2 Peter 3:14-17 Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. 15 And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, 16 as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. 17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability.

We do not hear that message spoken because of ignorance and instability.
