  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Watching Public Enemies on Netflix. Forgot how beautiful Marion Cotillard is in this film. Hard to believe she's 34 too. Although for some reason French girls seem to age well. I first watched this when I was like 20 years old and was shocked how old she was, although now nearing 30.. the difference doesn't seem as drastic, lol.

I liked Avatar even though I had to ignore that the plot was a bit predictable and not be overly wowed by the graphics at the time it came out.

Watched that Ted Bundy movie on Netflix. Better than I thought it would be. Zac Efron gave a good performance. Although I doubt the real Ted Bundy was as popular with the ladies (post serial killer trial days) as the movie suggests. He was a 6-7 at best. Women were not blushing at him wherever he walked.. lol.

Also weird seeing a Disney Channel star I grew up with playing such a dark person.. lol..

Is he really a good actor though (Brad Pitt)? I mean, he makes good eye candy for the ladies and homosexuals, but his acting depth really is pretty shallow. Don't you think?

Eh IDK.. haven't seen many of his films.. seems alright in this.

Although 30 more mins of this movie.. might have to finish it in 10 more years when I'm 40. This film is about life.. so it fits that I only watch bits and pieces throughout it.
