Only God can move a person's heart and move them to change!
The Holy Spirit IS God.
By focussing on His passion, His suffering, and not the wondrous glory of what it accomplished, it humiliates our Lord! We see Him at His most defeated and shamed, a moment which was very brief in the scheme of things.
Perhaps you were unaware of what the movie was going to show when it was titled "The Passion of The Christ"?
Perhaps even now you should read the many scriptiures that speak of the cross, of Christ crucified, of the Lamb as if slain...
The two hour visual we get of Jesus being flagellated and crucified obscures His glory, His deity, His victory on the cross, and His present kingdom. It shows His human weakness, his physical suffering, but we don't see His joy or His power!
Then you need to see the film again.
Where He explains that he lays His life down and he raises it up again.
Where he says to His mother, "I make all things new."
Where he says "It is accomplished.", which points to Luke 18:31-33.
Where we see Him rise from the dead.
Christianity is based on words and not images, if it were then the bible would be a picture book. The Holy Spirit teaches those who believe in Him through words
Icons are words, yet mortal men looking with mortal eys would call them paintings.
'Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ' Romans 10:17
Then we should not have Bibles, nor should we READ any words about God.
