movie camera?

Hi. Dont know if this is the site to ask the question: If I want to learn how to make short videos, what is the best video camera to get for this? Need something a beginner can use (idiot proof) but is good enough for a moderately good video presentation of some quality...

That's a toughy. Personally I think there's a wide margin between some low end consumer based cameras and some higher end ones. Get a MiniDV camera with he best resolution you can (typically, they'll come with 1CCD, as opposed to 3CCD in a professional camera), and you can make some pretty decent stuff with something like that. I've only got a Digital 8 myself, and I'm wishing I had a MiniDV...
