• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Heres an interestng cute little story that I'd like to share. 10 days ago, I went on a camping trip with my family and cousins. During our sleep on the first night (we slept in tents), I heard my little 5 years old newphew crying out in fear in the middle of the night. He was screaming something during his sleep. I found out that he was having a nightmare and my cousins (his parents) told me that he has been having these nightmares for the longest time now. Every night he would scream in fear. So I asked my newphew the next morning, "Kiet, whats wrong? what were you dreaming of last night?" He said he was dreaming that his skin was melting away. So in response, I prayed to the Lord and asked the Lord to take away his nightmares and let him sleep in peace.

Previous to this, about a couple months ago, I ran into someone who was also having nightmares. This girl, her name is Nga, has been having constant nightmares. I told her that I will pray for her nightmares to go away. There is nothing in this world that the Lord cannot do. He made this world and everything in it. Where theres a problem, He can fix it! So a few weeks later after meeting this girl, I asked her if she still has nightmares anymore and she said nope it went away.

Going back to my newphew, shortly after we got back from the camping trip, a couple of days later I asked him, "so Kiet, what did you dream about last night?" He replied, "I dreamt that I was the smartest kid in my class!" I was in delight as I knew that God would answer my prayers :). So I asked my newphew again, "So Kiet, you don't have nightmares anymore?" He says no.

Then just yesterday, Kiet was over at my house and I was having a conversation with him. Our conversation led to his recent dreams and this is what he told me:

"Uncle Thai, I had a dream of God. I dreamt that I was watching TV and I saw God talking to you in the TV."
