I vote the mouse is. He gets to fly and is escaping the cat at the same time.

PS: I need to change my vote in the poll from #1 to #3. I have mice. Last week there was a mouse in my car that chewed into a breadbag and ate part of the end slice. A couple days ago I went into my little cabin and a pile of newspaper had been shredded at the corners by... a MOUSE!! So, while they are not pet mice, I do now have mice.

That is so awesome! I think I probably wrote at the beginning of this thread that I used to live in Alaska (I started this thread in Alaska as a matter of fact!) and when I lived in tent city the mice made a home in my shoe inside my pack. Every morning they would start rustling around and wake me up so they were my alarm clock!
One morning it was cold and about 4 AM I felt something moving under my head and discovered a mouse had curled up inside my pillow case for warmth. (It did succeed in getting out without being crushed!)
Another time I was sitting by oil lamp or candle light in a cabin and heard a spoon start tapping on the counter. Ok, alone in a cabin on an island at night in Alaska with bears outside... kind of freaky when you hear any noise! But I turned around and a mouse was licking the spoon I had used for peanut butter earlier. Cute! Hey, at least I knew a bear hadn't gotten in to rummage through the kitchen! That has been known to happen in Alaska!

I went to the Salvation Army (they have the greatest cheep stuff!) and I was looking through the book section and I heard a little mousy chomping on something behind some of the books. Who could mistake that sound--munch, munch, munch. Anyway I didn't tell them about the lil guy cuz I didn't want them to kill it!
