I voted WE ARE ONLY TRULY SAVED ONCE WE ENDURE TO THE END because if a person believed in God at one point in their life, but then stopped repenting of sin and left God, they wouldn't go to Heaven (unless they turn back).

You need to believe in the right person! Salvation has a name- Jesus.

No need to be sorry, it's something I'm exploring as well.

In the NT we are told that those of the OT were not the same. John the Baptist was greatest of the OT but would still be least in the NT. Salvation involved putting your faith in God as you put your sins on a goat or made sacrifices. Jesus is the perfect sacrifice, so we don't need to go back year by year and it's available to all, not just Jews. Why the difference in John the Baptist vs now I don't know.

He said that WE now have the Holy Spirit in us. The Holy spirit was not given in the same way pre crucifixtion. Even though John the Baptist was "filled" it was not the same, he wasn't SEALED as we are, hence we are GREATER.

I chose repenting and believing with the provisio that it can only happen through he grace of our Lord Jesus and His Spirit calling my heart to do so and the gift of Faith He planted there to allow me to believe Him. He called my answer was YES LORD>
