  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ultima Online for six years. I was on the pacific server and all my chars were at max level. I did PvE/M and PvP, ran large guilds, had allot of laughs. Then they released AoS Age of Shadows expansion and I quit :p
I think the game was always in Beta...
My next most addictive game of all time may be Middle-earth Online (mmorpg). Time will tell.
Oh, EQ was #2. I miss EQ more than UO for game play but I spent the most time with UO, mostly with guild activities. Guilds were far more fun in UO since you could do so much more than just hunt stuff for guild events.

For me it'd have to be NeverWinter Nights with both expansions. :D
What's your favorite character build? For me it doesn't get better than rogue with enough ranger and combat feats mixed in so that it is possible to go toe to toe duel-wielding. Perhaps a level or two of shadow dance for increased manuevarbility. And I'm only satisifed if I can pull off the build with no armor. I really hate armor for some reason.

I can't really say which game I played was the most adictive, keeps on changing over time. I remember I spent a whole doing almost nothing else but play Civilization (I). Then Civ II, Civ III and Alpha Centauri came along. (ok, Alpha Centauri is technically not part of the series, but still...)

Morrowind is quite addictive as well, especially when trying to 'build' the perfect character with a complete collection of unique items.

I'm with you. Neverwinter Nights. I even have my own server. Stop by if you get a chance (PW Action, Black Company II, The Lord of the Rings). Got about 450 active areas ATM.
