Everquest. I sank 3 years of my life into that game and have turned down sex to keep playing. Hey, I was in a good group at the giant fort in Burning Wood.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have to admit that SOCOM II was very addicting. I played hours on end, even up to 3 in the morning fragging those noobs. Very good game.

Any game that can be highly customized always ends up eating way too much of my time. I spent a great deal of time on Civilization 2 (especially after the Fantastic Worlds expansion pack), Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (as well as the prequel), Alpha Centauri and even oldies like Unlimited Adventures. Current addiction is of course Neverwinter Nights which appeals to me in equal amounts because of the powerful module editor, and because of the very customizable nature of the class system (I've beaten the game eight times so far, and none of the characters played quite the same way.)

Now what should I put here?
The entire Diablo series is the most addictive for me, I've been playing ever since the D1 days. I only just got internet here at college, so I can play online for the first time.
A close second would have to be Civilization III, that's a marvelous game too.
