Hey, what is fable?dastangman said:I don't want to change the whole topic to fable, but I Love Morrowind. I can't wait for fable, and Halo 2 of course. Anyway the biggest complaint I have with morrowind is the lute bags. See when you get like 150 items or so i think in the same area, like inside a house, then a lute bag comes up. I had tons of items, ya know just to show off and for quick access, and the house was a great place to sleep. Anyway, I got too many items and this lute bag comes up. I emptied the house, and the lute bag stayed there. YOU CANNOT delete the lute bag. So now, right in the middle of my floor is a bag. And everytime I set something down in my house it automatically goes into the bag. I hate it. I guess I'll just have to find another house with more crates and more room, and then sell some of my objects. By the way, I think the strongholds, or the 3 houses you can purchase plain stink. They're just this room with a bed some shelves, and a ton of crates scattered about. Plus I dislike having people running around. Be great if I had PC version, then I could use the architect and design my own house, but I have Xbox, so I have to kill people for my house. As I said the houses you can purchase or earn ar horrible I think.
you say that there is only 3 houses you can buy? i see 12 Xs on the map! and there are all out in the middle of nowhere, and thats why no one ownes them.. hehedastangman said:Well fable is for Xbox. It's an RPG much like morrowind, but basically on steroids. Imagine sims in Morrowindish world, but with a story. The homes can be purchased after you've gotten through the guild houses (hlaalu, etc. You talk to this guy he gives you a deed for i think 5000 maybe, then you tlak to another guy who will start construction on the stronghold. yes it's not exactly a house. It's this house, with a guard tower beside it. There are two merchants also, and the homes consist of mostly crates just set about. There are threee possible strongholds you can buy. Each is marked on the paper map that comes with the game. You'll see this X just south of Balmora. Another is in the volcanic regions, Uviriths grave and another is north above Ald Ruhn. Each goes with the flow of each guild house. One is the mushroom home, the other those Big Bugs shells, the other just normal. But the problem is finding them, they are dificult to find, and the other problem and part of the reason of not being able to find them is they are out in the middle of nowhere. You can check them out before you buy them. But you have to be in that guild house in order to get their stronghold.
