Morrowind: Should I become a werewolf?

I'm at the point in Morrowind: GOTY where I've been infected by a werewolf.

Should I wait out the 3 days and become one? Or should I cure myself?

Can I cure myself after becoming a werewolf? Is it worth becoming one? Can I still choose to become a werewolf if I take the potion right now?

I've been holding off playing the game because I haven't been able to find a reasonable answer on the net. So I hope someone here can help.

I just created two saving files: one, where I do whatever, and the other, where I ravage the countryside as a werewolf.

Yeah, but with the 5 minute loading times, I'm not sure if I have the patience to go back and forth...

Yeah, I would make one save file as a werewolf and one where you're cured. Being a werewolf makes it hard to finish the game. Just like being a vampire.

If you cure yourself, you can use Hircine's Ring to become a werewolf at will just by putting it on, but you must wait until daytime to turn back.

The biggest drawback I found was that as a werewolf, you chase away all NPC (except for guards), which means that stiltstrider masters and boatmen will not move back to where they originally were.

To fight effectively as a werewolf, move back to a safe distance, charge up by holding down left mouse button, and then release to attack. You can tear down enemy shields very quickly.

I know what you mean. Since I read that 2GB of the optional hdd will be for game cache on the Xbox 2, I'm definately going to opt for the drive. I'm seriously tempted to mod my xbox just so I can play KOTOR and Morrowind from the hdd for that very reason.
