Why believe man over God?
God wants us to be like Him by being in Communion with Him. God's plan is not for us to become gods to be worshiped. There is only One God dwelling in light unapproachable, Whom no one has ever seen nor can see. We will reflect the glory of that One, True God, but only in our Communion by grace.I do not desire power or responsibility. However, God wants us to be like Him and has commanded us to be perfect.
Jesus said "ye are Gods"
John 10:34 Greek Text Analysis
The Bible mentions essence here: 1 Timothy 6:15-16Where does the Bible mention essence or trinity? Instead it says "perfect in one". We have been commanded to be perfect.
The Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price show that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and brought Christ's church back to the earth again.
It was a comparison.
God wants to separate the tares from the wheat.you read too much of man thoughts! Read you bible!
The bible is clear as to why we were created----now is a different story. With the fall we became a theatre to the universe.
1Co 4:9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
You have not shown me where the Book of Mormon is false either. And, he is still one of these:
Matthew 24:11
Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
You can give me part of you testimony a million times--so in that we are going to have to agree to disagree.
I still say that God does not repent.A comparison of falsehood to the actual truth which you have not considered the implications of?
No-- that is not a comparison but a whole lot of wishful thinking.
I still say that God does not repent.
You have not paid any attention. You have not shown me where the Book of Mormon is false either.
Sorry---- your say does not make for truth.I still say that God does not repent.
Joseph Smith is not an anti-Christ, however all have sinned and came short of the glory of God.And Christianity still says that Joseph Smith is a liar and an anti-Christ.
Guess which conclusion is infinitely more important for your soul.
You have not quoted any major problems with the Book of Mormon. You have not paid any attention.
How about the Bible stating that God does not repent:Sorry---- your say does not make for truth.
God wants to separate the tares from the wheat.
And what has that to do with what was said? However, they will not be separated until the judgement.
Mat 13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
How about the Bible stating that God does not repent:
(Old Testament | Numbers 23:19)
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
I still say that God does not repent.
Joseph Smith is not an anti-Christ
This is a test to find out who is the wheat or the sheep and who is the tares or goats.
This is a test to find out who is the wheat or the sheep and who is the tares or goats.
