We are on the boarder of a freeze here and it is raining today and probably tomorrow.
Miserable weather 37 and rain.... ugh.
Hopefully it won't get colder and have an ice storm here in the city.

They are forecasting ice storms west and north of here and it will be close to freezing tonight

They are saying there is 283,000 people without power in the state now. We are lucky here it is teetering just above freezing and slowly warming so we won't get any freezing rain where I am at.

A man is walking home alone late one foggy night, when behind him he hears:

Walking faster, he looks back and through the fog he makes out the image of an upright casket banging it's way down the middle of the street towards him.

Terrified, the man begins to run towards his home, the casket bouncing quickly behind him.
FASTER...

He runs up to his door, fumbled with his keys, opens the door rushes in, slams and locks the door behind him. However the casket crashes through the door, with the lid of the casket clapping.

On his heels the man runs. Rushing upstairs to the bathroom, the man locks himself in. His heart is pounding; his head is reeling; his breath is coming in sobbing gasps.
With a loud CRASH the casket breaks down the door.
Bumping and clapping towards him.
The man screams and reaches for something, anything, but all he can find is a bottle of cough syrup!
Desperate, he throws the cough syrup at the casket...
And...

..
The coffin stops

same here , but we are used to it coming early in oct. or early nov.

We usually don't have a freeze here till later in November. We are up to 300k people without power luckily the city here didn't get freezing rain and the temp is going to be above freezing. It is 36 now and didn't freeze overnight but was very close I think 32 degrees officially and 34 at my place.
