yeah I sort of live nearer to the middle of the city and the aldis here are mideast, southeast, south and southwest of me.

yeah the city here is spread out about 15 miles from north to south and about 13 or so east to west

population here is about 400k but a lot of people from outlying cities/suburbs work here in the city also the greater metropolitan Tulsa area has a population of about 1 million or about 1/4 of the state population.

my town is 12,000

There are a few towns around here about that big I think but most are 20,000 and up close to Tulsa

12000 or little more is not that small , we have 3 elementary schools , a catholic school , middle school and high school which brings in smaller towns around , large cat factory and large printing factory , a several other smaller factorys

we have 4 motels and a new Hampton , very large , is opening this late summer

It would take me days to go through what we have here.... but then we have about 35 times as many people in it all. I know we have 3 Sam's Club's here and one in an outlying city and we recently got a costco but they put it about 12 miles from where I am so it isn't worth getting a membership for the price of 2 gallons of gas to go there.

It would have been fun if we got a pro basketball team like OKC did. It was funny in that nobody figured OKC could support a pro team until the Hurricane caused the team to temporarily relocate here till they could resume operations there. I doubt Tulsa will get any pro teams we are a little smaller than OKC partially because that is the city the state government resides in (the capitol). At one time I think Tulsa used to be the bigger city.... once even the oil capitol of the world.
