Thank you for the owner-change history. I also like your comment about "not a huge amount of fun just mindless or controversial posting." Yes, I agree. Often overlooked for the advancement of Christianity is that Christians have fun together. Without fun our attempts to work together, share burdens, lift our hearts to God, and be the family nonChristians want to join will be as fruitful as mindless or controversial family fighting. Few accept invitations to eat there.

The forum itself now profits off of strife IMO, there isn't any progress on making the place more entertaining and encouraging.

I went to a park Saturday in a neighboring small town, first time at the park or the town. It was quaint, pretty, and friendly. There were sculptures in the park. I walked along the path and took pictures of most of them. As I was taking a picture at one of the sculptures an elderly, frail man stopped, not wanting to walk past behind me until I finished or maybe just to watch. I took the picture and then nodded and smiled. He then smiled and said Shalom. It was the perfect greeting, made my day and the whole experience a blessing.

Never discount the effect of a simple kindness to a stranger.

The City is Gulfport, Florida, and its Clymer Park and Beach Boulevard Parkway Complex.

I enjoy a walk in the park but we have a huge park here that I doubt I will go to as likely it is packed and lots of traffic/cars to wait behind. I have 2 other parks that I like going to here one has swans in it another has a rose garden even. I guess I just like being around water and fountains and birds and flowers and..... and.

I laughed pretty good at this. Clever! I wish I could say something theological about us all being broken but I'm not sure where cats or dogs fall into that.

I tried a few times to tell people to take their broken stuff to a vet, as they can "fix" all sorts of things.
