But yes, even if it is 99% sure it won't break or spill, it's not worth taking such a grave risk -- even apart from the sin factor.

True, as if one were fornicating, the rest of begetting a child is a factor. Primarily from the standpoint of proper parental responsibility and ability to provide a loving and caring home and family; especially in which, the child may grow, learn and develop, as a spiritually, emotionally, and mentally healthy young person; particularly as a young Catholic Christian.
