What that would mean is that what he says is true, that is a reason to care.
I don't follow you. If declare that I am right, and everything that disagrees with me is wrong, does that make what I say to be true?

Morality is essentially rational. Its behavior that leads to a good life, which is what people really want.

It does get contaminated by irrational nonsense sometime, typically as bond-building ritual and so on. But that sloughs off, eventually.

If you use a deontic logic, where the better option or the preferable state of affairs ought to be chosen, then you can say that ethics can be raitonalised. You can go from is to ought, based on onyology and logic. If you use the old Aristotolian syllogisms then maybe not. The odd thing is the we use these logics all of the time, for instance hunger is bad, so I ought to eat. But it has taken 2000 years of enquiry to "discover" or formalise them.

It is yet to be challenged so it stands. If you wish to challenge it then give it a try. Until then you are the one just making an assertion.

Can you challenge whether I was abducted by aliens last night for a brief period and returned to my bed?

Of course I can. But that is not the same thing, it is not an example of universal truth. Your example is a situational claim. Besides you didn't give me all the details, were they legal or illegal aliens?

Funny how many ideas have been put forth to try to disprove Dr. Lisle's position without addressing one single point of his. Hmmm.

Go ahead and challenge my claim: I was abducted by alien life forms last night from my bed at 3am, taken aboard their space craft, and returned to my bed at 3:15am.

What example of "universal truth" are you talking about?

The universal truths of; uniformity of nature, laws of logic, morality, to name a few.

Would you like, you comment on them?

In your worldview why should there be uniformity in nature, laws of logic and morality?

By the way, if you say you were abducted then I believe you.
