The two episodes I've seen are great. I'm thinking about getting the DVDs of season one for my parents for Christmas. They used to love Colombo and this is right up their alley

My wife and I both enjoy the series. And yes, if you pay close attention you can predict what the outcome will be... and that is part of the enjoyment. Some mystery shows lead you on and on and then solve the case with information details not given to the viewer. With Monk you see what he sees.

btw... anyone know when the next season is going to begin? I hope the series hasn't been dropped.
