Hi everyone. My Mom was in a wreck on Wednesday. She was driving up a hill in a Chevy S-10 with a manual transmission. She was about to shift into 3rd gear but her foot slipped off the pedal. She looked down when this happened but unfortunately she was very close to a guard rail and didn't realize how close she was. She side swiped a guard rail on the highway at about 30 mph. Thank God she wasn't going faster or she could have been killed. She received some pretty serious injuries from this wreck. She has whip lash, a really bad bruise on her abdomen, and bruising to her ovary and pancreas. From what I understand the steering wheel hit her in the abdomen pretty hard and that is what caused that bruising. She also twisted her ankle when she got out of the truck and says it is still bothering her. But praise God that she is okay! I just want to thank God that He kept her safe. Like I said, if she had been going faster, she likely would have been hurt a lot worse. Thank you Lord!
