I'm a licensed barber/cosmetologist. So if anyone needs any advice regarding grooming, feel free to send me message.

Don't judge me, but advice for "male grooming" - and I'm not talking about my beard.

Would I be throwing money away on a Manscaped trimmer?

I've never tried Color Wow. I've been using the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Oil shampoo and styling cream.

; )
Paul Mitchell is a great brand! If it works for you, I wouldn't bother about using something else.

That, I don't know. My only area of expertise in that department for men is waxing and shaving I'm afraid. :tearsofjoy: But I do know that people have been causing and using our insecurities about looks for ages to make us buy stuff we don't really need, so keep that in the back of your mind. There are probably tons of other products out there that can help with what you're dealing with. If it's bothering you and you think it could do the trick, then I'd say go for it.

But just going by what they're saying on their website, I don't think it's as mind-blowing or unique as they make it out to be. It doesn't seem like it's terrible either, though. When you look at the price, it really comes down to how often you're planning to use it. But at first glance, it seems like it does what it says on the 'tin', so if that's what you're after, it might be worth checking out.

Well, if I were to do that, I sure wouldn't use my beard trimmer.

The better full-beard styles are ones that emphasise the chin. The longer the chin area of the beard the more symmetrical your head looks. I think it has something to do with where your eyes are and it's one of the reasons why the shaved moustache full beards (think Islamic style) don't look as good. The moustache being shaved interrupts the symmetry of the middle of your face, and personally as a big nosed individual, makes your nose look a little bit bigger.

I'm not saying this because I'm vain as I pretty much go naked mole rat and shave both top knot (what's left of it) & beard, but I've thought a lot about why a beard conveys what it does.

This is my opinion about facial hair. I'm not sure how you all will perceive it. Even my own mom thinks it's abnormal that I have this opinion.

I don't like beards. I never have. The only facial hair I've ever liked is sideburns.

Finally did get my hair cut. The stylist wound up giving me the "Clark Kent", lol. Which is not the worst haircut in the world. One time, I the stylist gave me the "Kim Jong Un", and that one got me a little upset XD

Did you have little men in suits following you around with notebooks to capture your wisdom?

No, but I sent all my underlings video messages from their Supreme Leader, so they could absorb my immortal wisdom.
