modest clothing...
Well, being covered, being under his mantle, wearing garments of praise..
For me, it means tasteful clothing that the Lord likes. I used to wear a lot of black as it ended up being a kind of work uniform, but now have discarded that as I'm free and not a widow, plus black is the most dull, boring non-colour.
I like simple clothing thats not fussy.
I don't show cleavage simply because I don't really have any lol.
I'm more comfortable in roomy trousers, not tight jeans and tight skirts. long skirts in general but if they are shorter, just above the knee any shorter then I need to wear stockings under it so as not to flash anyone.
No labels or satanic symbols as you'd be surprised a lot of clothing these days is branded. When its summer and really hot I do wear t shirts and shorts, but they aren't tight ones.
I suppose if I were a parent I'd be concerned about what my child wears but as I'm not, its not my business to interfere or judge. These days many schools have uniforms even primary schools so parents don't need to worry so much about keeping up with trends. As long as the children are warm and their clothing isn't dirty or ragged and torn its ok.
Oh and sunhats - yes, in the summer I don't like seeing children fry under the harsh sun.
Young ladies need to keep away from harlot like clothing, I agree with that. Just for their own protection. I have had men come onto me and think I'm like harlot because they just have these strange ideas about clothes, and it seems, especially heels and stockings. So don't wear anything that would be provocative that you might see at a brothel.
