Hi all - and especially moderators.
(I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question - please move it to the correct forum if required.)
But I often find we are discussing the same topic in multiple threads posted by the same person - sometimes even on the same day!
Having grown tired of the media cycle where certain politicians are famous for 'flooding the zone' to drown out other societal conversations - is the same thing happening here? Really - how many NEW threads do we really need to discuss the SAME things over and over? Chances are one of the motivations for posting the SAME THING is simply the temptation to add some new provocative click-bait heading. (I know I sometimes feel that temptation.)
Is a side effect of this diluting certain topics - rather than concentrating them into a few decent debates?
This is not a posting limit - but a NEW TOPIC limit per member per day - at least in these political forums?
I'm wondering how popular this would be with other members?
First I'd like to POLL Yes or NO to the concept.
Then if the answer is a YES - we can discuss the number.
Personally I'm thinking something low like 2 or 3.
Chances are the topic is already here - if members would only search!
