I know what you mean lara..only my grandmother is the one like that lady..when i mention my deliverance ministry she jokes about ghosts and how im "insane because i bring curses on myself" for rejoicing my students are being set free and rebuking the demons they see now. It hurts me so much to see her act that way.. God is slowly setting her free though.

I pray for your grandmother! My mom is tormented by tormenting spirits and has paranoia mental problems. In fact, I have to leave, if I stay too long, because my mom would get riled up. If I sing, it's torture for her(or actually the demons in her) and she tells me to stop singing. so I can't sing around her. (I was told in a prophetic word, that the Lord will use me in music to bring deliverence to people) She doesn't smoke pot or speak in demonic "tongues" anymore.
I've been praying about having a gathering at my house--worship and ministry, etc. I've never done this before, so I want to really make sure it's the Lord's will for me. I know that he's also gifted me in intercession, so I don't know if it will be His will for me to do this(have a gathering) or not. The christians I know, are either lukewarm, wishywashy, or their love is growing cold--and one who has grown up in church has dabbled with the ouiji board and is friends with a person I know is wiccan. Or they are people who just grew up in the church(like a lot of people in the south) but don't really know the Lord. IF I do this gathering, it will have to be the Lord doing the work, I know I can't do it in my strength. Blessings, Lara

When I was ten before I start performing anything I was told in a prophetic word in the pentecostal abusive church by a REAL woman of God with a heart of gold.. that I was going to sing and deliver people too .. I was in shock. I didnt start my performing stuff until I was fifteen.. but her words were always in my heart.. my grandma freaks if i sing praise too...hmm shes with a christian man who is setting her straight though praise God. Can I ask how old u r?

I am not discussing charismatic witchcraft somebody else brought it up.

And I am suggesting that there is no such thing as "charismatic witchcraft".
There is "charismatic" and there is "witchcraft"... the two are not related any more than the Holy Spirit is related to the demons. We need to be careful not to suggest that things that come from the "grace gifts" of God are not called demonic.

Lottedah--Hi! I'm 36. I have a question? Does your grandmother also have the beliefs that we originated from aliens, etc? It's really scary but there are people in the occult, new age, etc who believe we originated from Aliens, and that all the so called great religious leaders-Buddha, etc were 'star-children'. I believe that satan is deceiving people in this and that it's possible that these days are going to be like the days of Noah when the 'sons of God' went into the 'daughters of men' and produced the nephillim. (Gen 6:4) Sort of off topic, but really scary.

But we need to be discerning. Yes, there is charismatic witchcraft. I've heard teaching on it. Also, satan comes in like angel of light and deceives. He knows the word more than most christians, believe it or not. He can come in and twist the Word around and bring in his tares like Jesus says, satan plants tares in the field, and they look like charismatics, or speaking in tongues(there are satanic counterfeit to tongues! I've experienced it with my mom!!! That doesnt' mean I believe all tongues are evil. I don't believe that at all!) I've experienced spiritual abuse. I went thru stuff. I know. There were false prophets in the days of old, and there are false prophets today. I believe very much in the gifts of the Spirit. I'm not one who is anti-charismatic. But I don't believe everything either. Scripture says to test the spirits for many false prophets have come into the world. It's dangerous as a Charismatic, to simply accept everything at face value and neglect the Word and discernment from the Spirit on every supernatural manifestation. I'm a charismatic and Word Believer!

There are no witchcraft or demonic manifestations in the charimatic gifts of God as listed in 1 Corinthians 12. We can easily determine what are true and what are not by the tests given in scripture. But there is no such thing as charismatic (grace gifts) witchcraft (a work of the flesh).
There is no more a "charismatic witchcraft" than there is a "satanic body of Christ". There is a contradiction of terms in the very words. Mixing these terms only serves to confuse and scare people. God does not scare or confuse.
Again, I have to suggest we be careful not to attribute the things of the Spirit of God to the devil. This is a very dangerous thing to do!

I'm not attributing the gifts of the Spirit of God to satan. I'm saying that satan comes in as a counterfit, to try to destroy the saints of God, thru his tares. It seems you didn't listen to my story of what happeend to me as achild. Are you saying that I was suppose to die. That God hated me and used my mom to try to destroy me?? And had people tell me that I would go to hell if I left their fellowship???? You're not listening to what I'm saying, how satan sneaks in, using either tares, those who don't know Him or have given themselves over to the enemy, to curse the church or God's people. There is a counterfit to the gifts of the spirits.

If something is truly wrong with me, and if the Spirit tells you something is wrong with me and if I'm not right with Abba and on my way to hell because God hates me then tell me. We must learn brother and sister we are under a kingship the king rules JESUS! We are His subject and He has laid down the rules of life in the kingdom. Follow and you will have life to the fullest. Manipulation is as the sin of witchcraft.. so therefore charismatics who manipulate with FALSE fleshy prophecies are in the same boat as the psychics who do the same thing.
Gods graceful gifts arent to be mocked either. And those pastors and fellowship who use false gifts or control their God given gifts to control a situation or get lying prophecies from the devil because its what their heart wants is operating under a witchcraft spirit. The term charismatic witchcraft is widely used to dictate the difference between the two witchcraft spirits.. manipulation with spells OR manipulation in the church. Cherokee hippie.. you stop talking about yourself like that! your little demons have you in chains but you are very weak from being wounded by the old church.. God is showing me that you are very zealous and excited and he loves that. Some people get up in arms when we discuss false prophets probably because they have been so persecuted about it.. you must remember non charismatics consider us loony already.. You also must remember to practice grace and mercy to them and others who hurt you because those people were operating under some POWERFUL spirits when the church hurt you.
And we must also remember God can use the worst most demonized person to teach and work through them..so that church that ripped me down and tore up my family-I learned alot of truth there too.
The thing to remember is to pray and fast occasionally and wage war against the spirit controlling the people.. not the people being run around by the spirit. I have been possessed basically by jezebel when I was backslidden and I was trying to go to church and get right with God but every sunday never failed I would fight with my parents or be so sick i couldnt get out of bed.. its a powerful demon and it works with rejection.. I even tore up one of my then fiancees bibles with my teeth.. umm yea i really did.
Don't let peoples words get you down but also dont lash out because of your own rejection.
If you want to be free see me. ok? Im young but I have alot of experience in lifes arenas and in the deliverance ministry now and I feel a pull toward you.

Nope thats WRONG!
God Loves you (He gave his life for you) and it actually goes beyond that!
He likes you! He loves it when you enjoy something. It makes him sad when somebody is mean to you. And he gets angry if one of His children gets raped.
That includes you.
Ask God to help you believe this if you can't
So if the allmighty God likes you how can you be unhappy with yourself?

The best part is that as you come closer to God he will remove the stuff from you that doesn't belong and will start cleansing you.

Yes it does scare people cause I am really freaked out right now...How am I supposed to know if my church is right or wrong...how do I know if it is Satan or Jesus/Lord...I mean, I am not like you guys, I don't prophesy, I don't want to and I wasn't meant to, I know that...that is not the spiritual gift I will recieve...I am not to hot at listening to God, though I may try, and I get the impression that God doesn't want me to be baptised in the holy spirit yet...so here I am new, lost and confused, and I am freaked out cause I don't know if I can tell the difference between faith and satanic stuff...

Secretdawn; Hear me, relax and be clam. Do you believe Jesus died and rose agian to take away your sins. And have you said that from your heart throw your mouth. If so you are saved. One does not have to have the infilling of the Holy Spirit to be saved. It is Jesus blood and His blood alone that saves one soul. The bible tells us that we have a blood covenant with God that He will not break and won't take back.
