CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For a while my wife and I lived outside of Branson. We lived between two small towns. Galina and Crane, but we lived right outside of Else. I really hated moving from there.

You cross the street of our neighborhood and you are in St. Peters. My family has lived there for about 7 1/2 years now. But I go to school at SMS, so I am only in St. Charles some of the time.

I don't spend that much time in South County anymore, but I was born in south St. Louis and lived there for about 25 years before moving to St. Charles area. I am not sure where Oakville is, but my wife will be in a craft show in a couple of week in the Afton area. She sells barbie and Ken clothes that she makes.
