Missing your pets

I moved up to Perth, Western Australia from Albany Western Australia this year to study at Uni. I left behind with my folks my cat and Dog, marmalade and shandy. Since moving my Dog has had to be put down and my cat takes ages to realise who i am when i go to visit. Tis upsetting as ive always had a pet and now, living in a unit, i am not allowed. Anyone else had similar experiences? I loved my pets to death, mis my cat heaps.

Yes, I know exactly what you are going through. This past July I had to drive my felines to South Dakota to live with my sister (6 hours away) and to live with my parents (7 hours away). Sassy went with my sister and Tiger went with my parents. I miss them terribly and wish that I could get another one, but the apartments that I live in will not allow pets. It has been 17 years since I was petless, Tiger was a year old when we got her and we have had her for 17 years.

Nope, I can't. I think that it is now wise to move Tiger again, seeing as she got sicker after this last move. She is battleing Hyperthyroid disease. And Sassy can stay with Laura, seeing as he has her wraped around her paw.

what happen to pet souls when they die, I lost a dog not long ago and I realy miss him and want the best for him. I know it sound crazy but he was my best friend.
