What you may not realize, or care to realize, is that people other than yourself and those with whom you argue are not the only ones watching. Innocent onlookers - Christian and atheist alike - are watching the way you all handle each response presented.

For example, a reply like you gave (with no substanciation save a one-sentence attempt to discredit) is taken into deep consoderation by guests and members. Moreover, they will see how voluminous the thread is, the substance of it (arguments) and judge it accordingly.

I have believe that people like dad and Avet are intellectually dishonest about science and The Holy Bible. I get a strong impression from them and several others on this thread that cognitive dissonance is in play.

OP: Misinterpreting a fossil does not equate to a lie. You notice that scientists corrected the error, not some creationist anyone.

Many creationist speakers, like Hovind, on the other hand continue to deliberately lie even after they are corrected.

Examples:
Why doesn't my dog evolve into a cat? (Deliberate misrepresentation of ToE)

Why is my grandmother not a chimp if evolution is true? (same thing)

See the difference?
