The ole elevator theology strikes again, of coarse this was before the blood of Christ was offered once and for ? Seems strange that God would have Paul teach overcome evil with good if He wasn't going to follow the same teaching, or is it do as I say and not as I do?

Hi what is elevator theology? .... I think that evil can be overcome with love and truth, but perhaps not in ways that we will see imediately. I can't speak for Paul, but maybe he thought this was an ideal way to live, but was working towards it ... like a journey to get better at it rather than saying he was already perfect at it. What do you think?
