  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Given the anniversary I thought I would share this, it is a documentary on the events in the WTC on 9/11, there were numerous instanced where people in the towers cried out to God in their situation and were miraculously saved! It is about 1 hour and 30 minutes but it is a good watch, if you watch carefully you can see the hand of God in the situation!

One particular story in this documentary- a man was sitting at his desk in the WTC when suddenly he looked out the window and saw the plane headed straight for him, instantly he cried out to God saying "God I can't do this take over!" He dove for cover underneath his desk, he survived the impact and later escaped from the building unharmed!

I can't watch the video (emotionally I just can't...) but it's nice to see God's power at work, even in this.

Thank you for sharing... maybe some day I'll watch it.

Agreed. Especially that part where the fire fighters help the lady with the bad leg. If they left her behind, they would have been crushed to death. The fact that they slowed down for her, made sure that the timing was perfect to have them end up in the only 2 floors where people survived.
