Ministering Spirits:

"Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?" ~Hebrews 1:14

I was reading this passage and it stumped me a little bit as to what it meant, and I was wondering if anyone has a different idea of what it could mean.

It is saying that everyone who is not yet saved, but will be, has a Spirit guiding them towards salvation? Does it mean that all it's a Spirit that follows those who are forgiven, but not yet inheriting salvation because they're still on earth?

Any other ideas?

The angels are God's messengers and helpers...I believe that they are there to help those who are seeking God.

Matthew 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Psalm 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Genesis 21:16-18 16And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bow shot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept. 17And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. 18Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
