Praying that the Lord receive Mind's soul by His grace and mery into His presence and that He provide for and protect the little ones left behind.

The father of her oldest boy is still around and I read that he sued her for custody right after the father of her youngest boy shot himself. What a way to lift her spirits and make things better for her! I say that his doing that to her is what drove her over the edge and him doing such a thing doesn't surprise me because back when he and her were together, he would beat her like a rented mule. I am guessing that he got bored with physical abuse and decided to go in the direction of what may be the worst form of abuse that there is: emotional abuse.

P.S. My most favorite song from her went to radio 15 years ago named "The Other Side Of This Kiss". I just pray that she is with the Lord now although I wouldn't bet on it. I believe that people who take their life go down instead of up because the Lord did not give us life just so that we could just throw it away.

What a terrible after life horror when she was so alone, miserable, abandoned in this life that she committed suicide on the same spot as her soul mate did and after killing the family dog, and then found herself in Hell for eternity.
I don't think God is that cruel. I think she found peace for eternity because God knows no one here was going to afford her any. It's so heart breakingly sad. Especially when she was such a bright light in the music field when she first came on the scene.

^^^ How do you think that the Lord feels about people who choose to break one of his commandments as their final act while still alive? Once they do themselves in, they can't ask him to forgive them because dead people can't talk.

Conclusion

Is the Christian forgiven for suicide? Yes. But suicide is not an option. We do not have the right to take our own lives. That belongs to God.

This thread appears to be one dedicated to the reporting of the suicide of Mindy. Let's keep it to that and not debate this issue as to whether the poor woman is in Heaven or Hell.

We do not have the right to take our own lives. That belongs to God.

Now that speaks volumes. Taking yourself is not only the killing of a person, but stealing from the Lord of all people! Why would the Lord let someone into his place right after they just got done stealing from him?
