I'm just reading a little bit about the mindfulness aspect of cognitive therapy but don't know much about it yet. Being in the moment and not thinking about the past or the future and focusing on one thing.
This is a long shot, but is there anything out there on this from a Christian perspective? Or has anyone gotten really into this and applied it with Scripture meditation, prayer etc.? I know the two would go well together. I guess I'm looking for a disciplined, systematic way of going about it especially for times when I'm in mixed states like I am right now.

This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to act in accordance with all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall be successful. [/FONT]
