CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Father God, I lift Brett up to You, asking You to be his Shield, Comforter and Deliverer. Your Word says we are more than conquerors thru Christ, I pray that Brett just lean on You completely and trust in Your faithfulness. Thank You LORD that we can come to You, knowing we will be received in love, in Jesus name, amen.

Show him who he is in You, Lord. That Jesus has already defeated the devil and when we are born again through Jesus, we become more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).
We know the devil has no power except his lying words which can deceive us into believing him, if we don't know and believe what the Word says.
I ask You to reveal the lies as soon as he whispers them to Brett, Father. Cause him to recognize that voice that is not in agreement with Yours.
I ask You to quicken in his spirit the words of Jesus which say, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
