That's already been shown with the double slit experiment.
If you look for "particles" the evidence for light waves
collapses from reality and only evidence for "particles"
exists. If you look for light "waves", reality and evidence
for "particles" collapses and you only find wave evidence.

When they go out in the real world. As long as they sit at the drawing board and expect others to do the real work then they will not understand what it is to get the job done in the real world. There are parameters, there are limits. Still there is a range within the parameters we are given.

A friend of mine told me a story once of an engineer that was making his life very difficult. They were working on a machine that was cutting a 25 foot wide tunnel to divert water on the river for industrial use. He complained and they sent that engineer down in the hole to work as a common labor for two weeks. They did not have any trouble with him after that.

That use to be my job. I had to take the project drawing and draft up the shop drawing that they used to actually cut the parts and build the project. So I had to come up with math that would actually work in the real world. So if they could not build it from my drawings then I had to go into the shop and build it myself. Although usually I just made the jigs and the templates.

I don't see the problem. I can make millions of bacteria and atoms and molecules move simply by a decision. I think it and then make it happen. Mind over matter...

In the sense it sounds like you're talking about -- never.

There is no term for your intentions in quantum mechanics. The results of the double slit experiment will be the same even if you rig the experiment to interpose a detector randomly, with no conscious action on your part.

Myeah, that doesn't work...
When you make a decision, what really happens is a physical process of neurons firing in your brain. It's not like something "immaterial" is making "material" stuff happen.

"Thinking" is a physical process by itself.

There are even studies that show that the "physical decision" happens even BEFORE you are aware of it.
