Oooo more poems. I love the poems. They had this one on a plaque at the base exchange when I was there yesterday:

"I've Got Your Back!"

I am a small and precious child, my dads been sent to fight...
The only place I'll see his face, is in my dreams at night.
He will be gone too many days for my young mind to keep track.
I may be sad, but I am proud.
My daddy's got your back.

I am a caring mother. My son has gone to war...
My mind is filled with worries that I have never known before.

I am a strong and loving wife, with a husband who had to go.

Marine wife here. My husband (Total Release) has been a member here for a few years, and he insisted I open an account. Anyway, he's currently on his third tour in Iraq Due home in August. Hope to get to know some of you ladies!

Hi. Fellow USMC wife here. Where are y'all stationed?

Well, he is a "reservist" now (although you know how that goes). He drills with the 6th Motor Trans BN out of Lubbock, but he is deployed as a combat engineer with the 14th Marines out of NASJRB (Fort Worth). He was active duty for eight years, and we were stationed at 29 Palms, Camp Pendleton and did two years at Okinawa. How about you?
