Scripture places the rapture post-trib:

1Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Context is the second coming.

1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

Context is the second coming.

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

This is the second coming and the resurrection of the dead in Christ.

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

This is the rapture and it happens after the second coming of Christ which only happens once the great tribulation has ended. The Greek word for rapture is harpazo and that's the term used by Paul in verse 17.

I've read Revelation and some texts on it that support mid-tribulation rapture.
There's a number of days listed in Daniel. The saints are present during the first half but not the bowls.

A midtrib rapture is based on the false idea that the trib is 7 years. There is no such thing as a 7 year trib. The trib is only 42 months. A midtrib rapture would have to be in the middle of the 42 months in order for it be a midtrib rapture. If one wanted to call it a mid 70th week rapture, that might be better, yet it would technically be a pretrib rapture since it would be preceding the beginning of the 42 months, since that is the trib and that it begins in the middle of the 70th week. The first half of the 70th week is not the trib, only the 2nd half is.

Satan only gets the empty field. Why some place Jesus Christ last in importance after Satan is very puzzling.

The church leaves, then Jesus Christ Himself gathers the harvest. Then Satan gets the left overs. Then any one left after Satan's 42 months are destroyed in the battle of Armageddon.
