  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I propose a new theory for the TE's, and this is one that, if possible, makes more sense to me than TE.

Here it is. The Mician (comes from Micaiah, (get it haw, haw)) theory of devolution.

The first inhabitants of earth were people. All other creatures are degenerate forms of people. They were the result of eating too much fast foods, which drastically increased the rate of mutations.

If you can supply evidence of such in the geological strata, I'll study up, otherwise, it is just as accurate a theory as creationism;)

Interesting. So it's a rigoriously tested and extensively documented scientifically emperical model of origins?

Since "fast food" is really only about 75 years old, at the most, you propose that every organism was a human until that point and that, in the last 75 years we have all degenerated into animals?

LOL! If I had come up with that theory I'd have called it Mician too. I certainly wouldn't want my name attributed to it :p

Yes. I must admit the geology and fossils had me stumped for a while. Then I got inspiration from a trampoline. The bigger you are, the higher you go. So here is how it works out in devolution. Some time ago, (details like time have yet to be finalised), a big meteorite hit planet earth. The result was catastrophic, as you would imagine. The ground shook violently. Big creatures got buried in the top layers, and small ones got buried deeper.

So the fossilised BK and KFC workers will be in the top layers whereas their customers will be in the lower layers?

Except, of course, for the small ones that didn't get buried deeper e.g. mice.
