Ok... I can't remember for the life of me who recomended these guys to me last week, but ever since I bought this album, I CANT STOP LISTENING TO IT!

Its like if you took HuskerDu (namely Bob Mould), Frank Black (from the Pixies) and combined a dissonant off-beat rhythm section with EMO guitars and brilliant spoken verse sewing this incredible tapestry all together.

It reminds me of the first time I drank coffee... I was like, "Hey! This is terrible! It taste like batter acid."... but after a second of the flavor buring itself into my tongue, I was like..." Hmmm... there is something good here, but I just cant put my finger on it."... I would definitely say they are an aquired taste (like coffee).

But I just wanted to thank whoever it was that told me to give them a spin!

Im totally diggin on them!

oh yeah. Makes the world a better place just to have their music crashing around in it. Now you'll have to take the chance to see them in concert, it's absolutely amazing and completely worthwhile.

i'm glad you're enjoying them. their first album, [a-->b] life, is really good, too. it's musically a bit harder and has a bit more yelling.

theres only one song i like the lead singers vocals in, and its not even by Mewithoutyou. I think the only song his vocals sound alright in is Memphis Shall Be Laid to Waste by Norma Jean

dredg is fairly good (very enjoyable music, okay vocals). you should definitely go to the show.
