then why are you here?! this is a thread about metal. the only reason people posted in your threads is because you asked why they dont like rap etc... and we told you why yet you still cant accept that people dont like it! im beginning to think your quite ignorant.
this thread is different it is directed at people who LIKE metal, and you come in here bashing metal for no good reason!
honestly you need to get over yourself and stop trying to tell people that rap is the 'be all and end all' of music! and stop crying everytime someone says they hate rap, its not the end of the world.

if you dont like metal dont come in this thread, its as simple as that.

I've actually given metal a chance, and it didnt fit my interests. How about you people give hip-hop a try and see if it fits yours?

That's just it Slim. There are people out there like myself who find an equal enjoyment in hip hop and metal. There is absolutely nothing wrong with listening to Behemoth, My Dying Bride, Death and Carcass followed by Aesop Rock, Dead Prez, Public Enemy and Wu Tang Clan. People are just getting so sick and tired of you running your mouth endlessly constantly blathering on and on about matters you know absolutely nothing about. You've done this so often that people DON'T WANT TO BACK YOU UP. I myself in other threads have at least tried and gave you a little slack and even showed some support and intelligent insight on some of your thoughts. With this complete arrogant stubborn attitude you've developed though, no one is going to want to support you or your half baked opinions since you've become somewhat of a troll arranging pointless arguments and never ending debates that will never find a conclusion because you're not willing to give in on your stance at all. I cannot possibly believe that someone so stubborn could possibly make an effort to try and expand their musical horizions. Even if you did listen to those songs, you can't possibly expect to summarize an entire genre with just a few bands. Now I realize you're not the only ignorant one on this boards, in fact, there are many people. You however, are the only one who won't let it go. If people have an arrogant attitude towards a genre of music you admire (oh the irony) then let them have that opinion. You better than anyone should know you cannot change an ignorant and stubborn man's opinion.

I've been loving Nevermore's Dreaming Neon Black lately. What it lacks in production, it makes up for in astonishing songwriting abilities and emotion. I've never heard such a convincingly agozined man in all my life. He captures the concept of the album so well with just his voice. Amazing stuff.

Dude, you came in the thread bashing something that you didn't even know anything about. No one else is the problem here except YOU! I realize some forms of Metal are satanic, but I don't listen to that crap. There are forms of rap that are just as bad. Self-destructive lyrics, domestic abuse, and who can forget the use of the n-word regularly. You need to grow up, man.

I've been listening to Nile lately, and I just downloaded "User~Maat~Re". That song is really awesome, and extremely technical.

Oh man, Nile are great. Have you heard the new album yet, Ithyphallic? A little slack on production, but musically, it's some of their best songwriting to date. Definitly check it out. Personally, my favorite remains In Their Darkened Shrines. Probably their most technical release and seems to balance the atmosphere and raw brutality with excellent precision.

Yea, I thought I would start with their most critically acclaimed album. Everybody I've heard talk about Nile says that "In Their Darkened Shrines" is there best album.

I am so in love with Disturbed! System of a Down and Slayer are cool, (though Slayers lyrics can makeyou sick!) I also love the classics. Zepplin, Judas Priest, even a little hair metal like Poison and Twisted Sister. As far as Christian, Bride is really good!
